Election in November

Summer in Vester Egede 2009

Once again Thorsten, Esben, Henriette and Anne Mette came to visit us here. In that way they meet at least once a year with their cousins Susse and Lene and the increasing members of the families. Both sundays we had fine weather, so that it was possible to have a nice day outside. Love from Gudrun

Niels' 60th birthday

On June the 20th, we celebrated Niels' birthday in Koustrup Molle. About 100 people were there on a wonderful summerday. Kirsten, the children, Erik and many others made a speech. On our way back home, we visited Nicolaj and Michala in there nice home on Fyn.

Wedding in the family in May 2009

Karen Marie's son Esben married Lise Mette, a Norwegian girl. They married in perfect summer weather. On her wedding day, Lise Mette was wearing the norwegian national costume. The next day, we had a party in a wonderful restaurant in Dyrehaven: an old park near Copenhagen.

You see Lise Mette on one of the photos. On the other, you see Niels and Gudrun in Esben's and Lise Mettes garden.

New photos from way back

I just recieved these photos from Nicolaj Bojer.

One is from Povl Blak's farm in Sennels and it is from about 1950. You will find many cousins there. Both Marie's, Elvine's, Johannes' and Agnes' children are there.
The other one is from Ida's home in Beersted in 1969, when Greta, Howard and their kids visited us together with Martin and Martha.

Agnes was born on Easter Sunday 1909.

And on this easter saturday she could have celebrated her 100 year birthday. 

2009 i familien

Så blev det 2009 og vi har mange familiebegivenheder: Karen Marie fylder 65, Esben og Lise Mette skal giftes, Lene og Thorsten fylder 40, Niels fylder 60, Ditte og Jonas skal have en lille baby til sommer. Vi glæder os vel egentlig også til nogle glædelige begivenheder i dette år.
Vi må alle bidrage med billeder og for den amerikanske familie vil det måske være godt med lidt engelsk forklaring.
